Course Overview
The Diploma in Art and Design is a comprehensive programme designed for students seeking to establish strong foundational skills in art and design practice, academic literacy, and creative thinking. Spanning nine modules, the curriculum integrates technical studio practice, digital workflows, contextual studies, design thinking, and business fundamentals. Students develop the creative and academic competencies equivalent to the first year of a bachelor’s degree in art and design, preparing them for progression to the Advanced Diploma in Art and Design Management or direct entry into Year 2 of relevant undergraduate programmes.

Applicant must meet the following requirements to enroll into the course:
Age
- Minimum 16 years old
Academic Qualifications
- 3 GCE ‘O’ Level Passes at C6 and above.OR
- NITEC or Higher NITEC.OR
- Formal Education equivalent to GCE ‘O’ Levels
English Language Proficiency
- GCE ‘O’ Level Pass in English at C6 and above; or
- IELTS 5.0 and above; or
- TOEFL 49 and above; or
- Pearson Test of English (PTEA) 42 and above; or
- Duolingo English Test Score (DET) score of 75 and above; or
- Pass in IMSC Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) Test
