Course Overview
The IMSC’s Preparatory Course for Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level (GCE O-Level) aims to thoroughly prepare private candidates (aged 15 years and above) for the national level assessments jointly organized and conducted by the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB) and the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicates over 23 months.

Lesson Structure
- This programme is made up of 4 core modules (Units 1 to 4), and 1 elective module (any one unit between 5A and 5B).
- All students are required to take all 4 core modules, and choose from 1 of the 2 elective modules available in order to complete the programme.

Assessment Method
Regular written exams to assess the student’s competency and progress to sit for the Singapore-Cambridge GCE O-Level examination.
Graduation Criteria
Students who have successfully completed all lessons delivered will be awarded a Certificate of Completion.
Applicant must meet the following requirements to enroll into the course:
Age
- 15 years of age, and above
English Language Proficiency
- IELTS 4.0, or equivalent; or
- Pass IMSC’s English Placement Test (with a minimum score of 50%)
Academic Qualifications
- Pass in Year 8 or equivalent in home country
