Course Overview
The aim for this programme is to introduce the learner on the requirements of becoming a Nursing Aid in the Healthcare Industry that comprise of clinical services, healthcare-related support services and roles of healthcare professionals in this industry. In addition, learners need to understand that the primary goal of a Nursing Aides is to provide quality patient care, while strongly advocating patient’s individualized needs with empathy and communication skill.

Applicant must meet the following requirements to enroll into the course:
Age
- Minimum 16 years old
Academic Qualifications
- 3 GCE ‘N’ Level Passes at C6 and above; or
- NITEC or Higher NITEC; or
- Mature candidates (>30 years old), at least 8 years of relevant work experience
- High School Graduation Certificate; or equivalent
English Language Proficiency
- GCE ‘N’ Level Pass in English at C6 and above; or
- IELTS 5.0 and above; or
- WPLN Literacy Level 5
