” I joined the University of Portsmouth in October 2001 and currently fulfil the role of Associate Dean (Global Engagement & Education Partnerships) responsible for overseeing the Faculty’s strategic implementation of the University of Portsmouth Global Engagement Strategy in addition to providing strategic leadership for the Faculty’s UK and international partnerships. I am also a Principal Lecturer in sport psychology in the School of Sport, Health and Exercise Science. Following the completion of my BSc (Hons) Physiology and Sports Science degree at the University of Glasgow, I completed an MSc in Sport and Exercise Psychology at the University of Chichester. My PhD thesis (University of Southampton) examined ‘The Impact of Butler and Hardy’s (1992) Performance Profiling Technique in Sport’. I am a BPS Chartered and HCPC registered Sport Psychologist and a Senior Fellow of Advance HE “.
